TLC to debut Long Island Medium - Radio & Television Business Report

Theresa is the medium that shares the connection with Laura!
She has helped ease our pain and let's us know that
Laura is shining brightly!

We missed the show tonight but will be watching
it every Sunday going forward.

Theresa is really gifted.
We wish you luck and blessings, Theresa.

Laura by Mary E Kurland (10/7/04)

I found this poem in a pamphlet from the annual memorial mass for the deceased children and grandchildren that we attended last May. Tonight I found the pamphlet and re-read it. I want to share the poem that Mrs. Kurland wrote for her Laura because she captures feelings that every parent who has lost a child experiences.

Since Heaven has become your home,
I sometimes feel I'm so alone.

And though we now are far apart
you hold a big piece of my heart.

I never knew how much I'd grieve,
when it was time for you to leave.

Or just how much my heart would ache,
from that one fragment you would take.

God lets my tender hole remain,
to remind me we will meet again.

And one day all my pain will cease,
when he restores the missing piece.

God will turn to joy, my every tear
and make all things very clear.

When we meet again on Reunion Day.

Please Don't Ask Me If I'm Over It

Please, don't ask me f I'm over it yet.
I'll never be over it.
Please, don't tell me Laura's in a better place.
She isn't here with me.
Please, don't say at least Laura isn't suffering.
I haven't come to terms with why she had to suffer at all.
Please don't tell me you know how I feel.
Unless you have walked in my shoes.
Please, don't ask me if I feel better.
Bereavement isn't a condition that clears up.
Please, don't tell me at least you had her for so many years.
What year would you chose for your child to die?
Please don't tell me God never gives us more than we can bear.
Please, just say your're sorry.
Please, just say you remember my daughter, if you do.
Please, just listen when I talk about Laura.
Please, mention her name and let me know it's okay to keep my precious memories alive.
Please, Just let me cry, if that's what I need to do for today.
