Laura wanted to dress as Belle from Beauty and the Beast for Halloween (1992). We couldn't find a pretty dress in the costume store, so Aunt Joannie and I made one. Joan, of course, did 99% of the work on the dress; I bought the material so I am giving myself 1% credit. It turned out beautiful and Laura was by far prettier than Belle.
