Claudia's Corner of the Country

My blog's focus started out as an exercise to help me learn to live with the deep grief I was experiencing after my daughter's unexpected death. Looking back on the blog I truly hope some of the posts have touched other people's hearts who are living with the heartbreak of losing someone they love. Many years later the focus shifted to include things that I find interesting or compelled to share but I have never lost the main focus of the blog--GRIEF. (updated Jan 2024)

Trust: Sierra & Claudia

When I needed a hand I always found her paw...
that is one of many reasons why she was so precious to me

We thought we were adopting a puggle today but it didn't work out. We will keep looking for another wonderful dog who needs a good home and lots of love. No dog will ever top Sierra but we know there are many shelter dogs who will come close. I just have to be patient. Maybe Angels Laura & Sierra will point us in the right direction!
